Description of Job Duties:

• Coordinate and direct journalistic coverage of U.S. Hispanic and Latin American business markets for print magazines.
• Develop overall editorial direction and production of additional print and online publications targeted at Hispanics with focus on culture, entertainment, business, technology, politics and careers.
• Research, report and write articles for readers in both markets.
• Edit copy.
• Hire and coordinate assignments and work product of writers, editors, photographers and designers for projects throughout U.S. and Latin America.
• Promote profile and brand recognition of Hispanic and Latin American-targeted publications.
• Provide guidance on magazine advertising issues.
• Host and provide content in educational workshops regarding media and journalism issues.
• Attend conferences throughout U.S. and Latin America on U.S. Hispanic business issues and participate as a panelist, moderator and/or participant in such conferences.
• Serve as director of business conferences and forums that involve Western hemisphere business issues and develop conference agenda.
• Invite and confirm speakers/panelists for said conferences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Journalism, Communication, Business.
• Five (5 )progressive years of editing experience.
• Must have journalistic writing experience in U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets.
